Auriculotherapy is a form of alternative medicine based on the idea that the ear is a microsystem, which reflects the entire body, represented on the auricle, the ear's outer portion. Conditions affecting the patient's physical, mental, or emotional health are assumed to be treatable by stimulation of the surface of the ear exclusively. It is also known as ear acupuncture or auriculoacupuncture. Here at Growing Our Mindset, we use acupressure with tiny little devices designed specifically for the ear to apply pressure to the points without needles for longer point stimulation.
